- 1 pound (450g) ground beef or sliced beef strips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add rigatoni, and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef or sliced beef strips; cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat all the pasta with the beef and creamy sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately for a romantic dining experience.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for optimal flavor.
- Adjust the amount of cream to make the sauce richer or lighter.
- For added texture, sprinkle toasted pine nuts on top.
- Substitute sliced grilled steak for ground beef for a different flavor.
