  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound (450g) rigatoni pasta
  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef or sliced beef strips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add rigatoni, and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef or sliced beef strips; cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2 minutes.
  5. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat all the pasta with the beef and creamy sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately for a romantic dining experience.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for optimal flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of cream to make the sauce richer or lighter.
  • For added texture, sprinkle toasted pine nuts on top.
  • Substitute sliced grilled steak for ground beef for a different flavor.
