- 6 large croissants, sliced or torn into pieces
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Arrange the croissant pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the croissants.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk or heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants and chocolate. Gently press down with a spatula to ensure soaking.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and set. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use thawed frozen croissants for convenience, adjusting baking time accordingly.
- You can substitute dairy with almond, soy, or coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
- For added flavor, drizzle caramel or sprinkle crushed nuts on top.
