Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds of beef steak or beef tenderloin
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by trimming excess fat from the beef and cutting it into bite-sized cubes. Season generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if desired.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes and sear until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to low in the same skillet, add the butter, and melt. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the skillet, toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley, serve immediately, and enjoy with vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice before serving.
- If using a slow cooker, sear the beef first, then cook on low for 4-6 hours with garlic, butter, and seasonings.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
- Feel free to substitute chicken or plant-based proteins using the same method.
