- 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt butter and mix with sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

- Can add chocolate chips for extra decadence.
