  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in chopped walnuts and chocolate chunks.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
