- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- Add remaining olive oil and throw in asparagus, cooking for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return shrimp to the skillet, add lemon juice and zest, and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices, then serve immediately.

- Adjust cooking times based on the size of the shrimp for perfect doneness.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan cheese.
