- 12 oz spaghetti pasta
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add marinara mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss cooked spaghetti with the sauce mixture until evenly coated.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer pasta to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, and extra Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
- Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed thoroughly.
- Can be assembled a day in advance; refrigerate and bake before serving.
- Frozen for up to 2 months, thaw overnight before reheating.
