Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Cut into squares to serve.
Notes
- Add chopped nuts or extra chocolate chunks for extra flavor.
- Ensure not to overbake to maintain the fudgy, chewy texture.
- For storage, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
