- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hoagie buns
- Optional: Swiss cheese, caramelized onions
Instructions
- Place beef roast, onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 8 hours until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
- Shred the beef and serve hot on buns with melted cheese and a side of au jus for dipping.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of red wine or a few sprigs of thyme during cooking.
- Use crusty bread for a crunchier sandwich.
