- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- White icing or melted white chocolate for bandages
- Edible googly eyes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and mix with sugar. Remove from heat and add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Cut into squares. Use white icing or melted white chocolate to create bandages across brownie tops, leaving spaces for eyes.
- Place edible googly eyes on each brownie to complete the mummy look.
Notes
- Use different color icing to add variety.
- Decorate with additional Halloween-themed sprinkles or candies.
