Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound (450g) frozen ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and ensure your ravioli is frozen and ready to use. Cook ground beef or sausage if using, then drain excess fat.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add a layer of ravioli, then dollops of ricotta, sprinkle of mozzarella, and seasonings.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a generous cheese layer on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours until bubbling and heated through.
- Once done, garnish with chopped basil or parsley and let set for 10 minutes before serving for clean slices.
Notes
- Use frozen ravioli to prevent sogginess.
- Adjust the amount of marinara or cheese for desired thickness.
- Mix shredded cream cheese into ricotta for a creamier texture.
- Cook on low heat for even melting and to prevent burning.
