- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Dip chicken in olive oil, then coat with bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
- Place coated chicken in the slow cooker, cover with marinara sauce.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
- Can be prepared ahead and stored in the refrigerator before cooking.
