Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, sliced thin
- 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add sliced peppers and stir-fry until slightly tender.
- Return beef to the skillet. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Pour in cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes until sauce is glossy and coats the beef and peppers.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- Use thinly sliced beef for quick cooking and tender texture.
- Adjust black pepper to taste for more or less heat.
- For a spicier version, add chili flakes or sliced fresh chilies.
