- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional)
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
- Dice the onion and mince the garlic. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic to the cooked ground beef; sauté until translucent. Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in cream cheese until melted and creamy. Incorporate crumbled bacon and chopped pickles if using.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and cheese is golden brown. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- For a leaner version, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
- To make it vegetarian, replace meat with sautéed mushrooms and plant-based proteins.
