- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning to beef and cook according to package instructions. Remove from heat.
- Roll out puff pastry sheet on a floured surface. Cut into rectangles.
- Spread garlic butter over each rectangle.
- Distribute ground beef evenly over the pastry, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Roll up each rectangle tightly, sealing the edges.
- Place rollups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for beef for a lighter version.
- Add chopped onions or pickles for extra flavor.
