Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 8 oz (about 225g) of your favorite pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp black peppercorns, freshly ground or cracked
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
- Salt to taste
- Optional garnishes: chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Start by gathering all ingredients and preparing the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside once cooked.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and freshly cracked black pepper. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and stir well, then add honey. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it with the honey pepper sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated. Heat through for 2 minutes.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stove, adding a splash of water or broth to maintain moisture.
- For longer storage, freeze portions for up to a month.
