  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 8 oz (about 225g) of your favorite pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp black peppercorns, freshly ground or cracked
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional garnishes: chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all ingredients and preparing the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside once cooked.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and freshly cracked black pepper. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and stir well, then add honey. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it with the honey pepper sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated. Heat through for 2 minutes.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stove, adding a splash of water or broth to maintain moisture.
  • For longer storage, freeze portions for up to a month.
