A quick and healthy cabbage roll recipe featuring tender cabbage leaves filled with savory seasoned meat and rice, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 lb ground beef or chicken
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully peel cabbage leaves, blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add ground meat, cook until browned, then stir in cooked rice, salt, and pepper.
