Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough or homemade pizza dough
- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pepperoni slices or your favorite toppings (bell peppers, olives, etc.)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using pre-made biscuit dough, lightly flour a clean surface and roll it out into a thin sheet. For homemade dough, prepare and roll into a thin layer, then cut into small circles to fit into a muffin tin.
- Grease a muffin tin with non-stick spray. Place a small dough circle into each muffin cup. Spoon about a teaspoon of pizza sauce into each. Top with shredded cheese and your desired toppings. Season with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
Notes
- For gluten-free options, substitute with gluten-free biscuit or pizza dough.
