- 400g (14 oz) penne or your favorite pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked chicken broth or heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and sauté until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble once cooled.
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth or heavy cream and simmer. Stir in ranch dressing and mozzarella cheese until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Add the cooked chicken, pasta, and crumbled bacon into the sauce. Toss until evenly coated and heated through. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
