Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water to make the sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef slices and stir-fry until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  5. Add broccoli and stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot over rice or noodles.
