Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, beat softened butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Mix in flour until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- In another bowl, toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Spread over the crust.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
