- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs.
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat and brown the meatballs until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add carrots and celery, sauté until tender.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Return meatballs to the pot.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
