- 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, Parmesan, garlic, onion, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Optional: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for a cheesy crust.
- Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in chopped herbs like parsley or basil.
- You can top with tomato sauce before baking for extra moisture.
