Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and half of the chopped parsley to the mixture. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, kneading until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls.
  5. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
  6. Beat the egg and brush over each roll. Sprinkle remaining parsley on top.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm.
