Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel, core, and slice apples. Toss with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Roll out one pie crust and fit into a pie dish.
- Fill with apple mixture, then cover with the second crust, sealing edges.
- Brush the top crust with beaten egg.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
