Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce or sriracha
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Start by patting the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 6-8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to low in the same skillet. Stir in honey and hot sauce, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon the spicy honey over the top, then sprinkle with feta cheese. Cover and cook for 2 more minutes to meld flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by varying the amount of hot sauce.
- Use fresh feta for the best flavor, but pre-crumbled feta works well too.
- This dish pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables, rice, or a green salad.
