- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour marinara sauce and chicken broth over them.
- Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning, then cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
- Return shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to combine.
- Serve in bowls topped with mozzarella, Parmesan, and fresh basil.

- You can shred the chicken ahead of time for quicker assembly.
- For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream before serving.
