Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef or chicken with chopped onion until browned; season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk until smooth.
- Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly in a casserole dish.
- Pour the soup mixture over the meat layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tots are golden and crispy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
