- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Fresh sliced cucumbers and shredded carrots, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil and cook ground beef until browned and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger; cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar; cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve the beef over cooked rice with sliced cucumbers and shredded carrots on the side.
Notes
- Feel free to top with additional chopped green onions or a drizzle of sriracha for extra flavor.
- For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of chili flakes during cooking.
