- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz brie cheese (wheel or wedge)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4-5 fresh figs, sliced
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Fresh thyme sprigs (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry slightly and place the brie cheese at the center.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg, then fold the pastry over the cheese to enclose completely, sealing the edges.
- Brush the outside of the pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and flaky.
