- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in vanilla extract and fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour filling over the crust and bake for 35-40 minutes until set and lightly golden.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For extra chocolate flavor, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top before baking.
- Chill the bars to help them hold their shape and enhance flavor.
