Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken tenders or chicken breasts cut into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken strip into the flour, then into the eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the chicken strips by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or barbecue sauce.
