- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and oregano until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before spreading on pizza dough.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute butter with plant-based margarine and heavy cream with coconut cream. Adjust seasoning as desired.
