- 20 large pasta shells
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, cooked spinach, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, and seasonings.
- Stuff each shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over stuffed shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat.
- Use fresh spinach for best flavor and texture.
- Ensure pasta shells are cooked al dente to prevent tearing while stuffing.
