Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and add chicken broth, celery, carrots, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to the soup.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot topped with crispy bacon crumbles and extra cheese if desired.
