- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add Rotel tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef; cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in milk and shredded cheese; cook until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
- Mix cooked pasta into the sauce; heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
- Adjust spice level with more or less Rotel tomatoes.
- For extra creaminess, add a splash of heavy cream.
