- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- In a large skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat. Add baked meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and let melt before serving. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
- Use fresh herbs for a more aromatic dish.
- Serve over spaghetti or enjoy as a meatball appetizer.
