Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. In a large skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat. Add baked meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and let melt before serving. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
