- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Reduce heat, add cream, and stir well. Use an immersion blender or transfer to a blender to puree until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- Adjustment of garlic intensity can be made based on preference.
- For a vegan version, substitute butter with olive oil and cream with coconut milk.
