- 8 ounces of spaghetti or pasta of choice
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese melts and sauce thickens slightly.
- Return cooked pasta to the pot and toss to combine with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.

- Feel free to add cooked chicken or vegetables for extra flavor and nutrition.
