Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet, toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Use fresh basil instead of parsley for a different flavor.
- For a gluten-free option, substitute with gluten-free pasta.
