Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and crab meat gently.
- Add milk gradually, mixing until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, prepare lemon butter sauce: melt butter in a small saucepan, stir in lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper. Keep warm.
- Drizzle warm lemon butter sauce over baked biscuits before serving.
