  • Total Time: 2 hours 45 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract and melted chocolate.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely.
  5. To prepare the mousse, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread evenly over cooled brownies.
  6. Chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Before serving, drizzle with warm ganache and garnish with strawberries.

Notes

  • Ensure the brownies are fully cooled before adding mousse to prevent melting.
  • You can substitute dark chocolate with semi-sweet chocolate for a sweeter flavor.
