Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract and melted chocolate.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely.
- To prepare the mousse, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread evenly over cooled brownies.
- Chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Before serving, drizzle with warm ganache and garnish with strawberries.
Notes
- Ensure the brownies are fully cooled before adding mousse to prevent melting.
- You can substitute dark chocolate with semi-sweet chocolate for a sweeter flavor.
