Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add brown sugar and vanilla, then gradually add milk until a dough forms.
- Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into rectangles.
- Place cookies on prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
- Cool completely. Mix icing sugar with a little water to make icing, then divide and add food coloring.
- Decorate cooled cookies with colored icing and sprinkles.
